Career Evolution:
An interview with Business Talk Radio

TALK RADIO: Please give a description of your company and the products/services you offer:

ROSANNE BOSTONIAN: EssentialSpirit, LLC, is a mind-body therapeutic practice. The practice itself involves the ancient healing arts of Reiki & Reflexology. It also includes aroma therapy using pure Young Living Essential Oils. The therapeutic grade oils are available through my practice.

TALK RADIO: Tell us about your background of your business and yourself.

ROSANNE BOSTONIAN: My career has spanned teaching both at the high school and college levels and then a traditional practice in psychotherapy.  And later I began a mind-body practice. The components of each career turn have mirrored my own evolution in consciousness, as well as trends in positive psychology.

My doctoral degree is from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Albert Einstein Campus of Yeshiva University. In 2014, I moved away from traditional practice. I began studying both Reiki and Reflexology, as well as the effects of pure essential oils. I have found this approach to be highly helpful in relaxation and integration for my clients.

TALK RADIO: How has the Covid-19 pandemic affected your business?
ROSANNE BOSTONIAN: Like all businesses involving close touch, there has been a pause in the traffic for Reiki & Reflexology due to the pandemic. The caution taken now involves temperature screening and frequent sanitization of surfaces and hands.

The current disruption in society and general well-being is an opportunity to examine more closely one’s state of mind and body, so the practice has become more relevant with time.

TALK RADIO: What inspired you to pursue your profession?
ROSANNE BOSTONIAN: The various layers of career evolution have following my own commitment to knowing and healing. Teaching, traditional psychology and now mind-body work have been a natural progression. I am guided by my clients and their needs as well as a desire to be spiritual attuned.
TALK RADIO: Where do you see yourself in the near future?
ROSANNE BOSTONIAN: My sensibilities seem to align with trends, as if there is a current taking us all to where we need to be. I see myself surrendering to that movement and continuing to evolve my practice.
